Planning
Planning takes place at the beginning of the performance year during meetings between managers and employees. Adjustments to initial plans may be made through late May. Click here to view the full timeline.
During this phase you and your manager will review the criteria that will be used to determine your performance evaluation at the end of the year. Information about the following performance criteria will be loaded into the Performance Management System:
- Core Values of Cincinnati Children's. This information will be added automatically to the Performance Management System.
- Competencies for the job family in which you work. This information will be added automatically to the Performance Management System.
- Specific responsibilities of your job. This information will be added automatically to the Performance Management System from your job description. To ensure that our job descriptions represent the expected duties of each job, Human Resources is working with managers across the organization to edit job descriptions. More consistent and accurate job descriptions will enable more accurate and consistent performance evaluations.
- Individual goals you set for yourself. You and your manager will add this information to the Performance Management System.
